- Immediate account suspension for any users found to be under 18
Zero Tolerance Policy
Bantr maintains a zero-tolerance policy for:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Any content depicting minors in sexual or suggestive contexts
- Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Any attempt to exploit, groom, or abuse minors
- Sharing contact information of minors: Any attempt to share or solicit contact information of individuals under 18
- Underage users: Any user found to be under 18 years of age

Our Response Process
When child safety concerns are reported, we:
- Immediate Action: Suspend accounts and preserve evidence within minutes of receipt
- Investigation: Conduct thorough review of reported content and associated accounts
- Law Enforcement: Report to appropriate authorities including:
- National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States
- Local and federal law enforcement agencies
- International authorities as required by jurisdiction
- Permanent Removal: Permanently ban violating users and associated devices
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records for law enforcement investigations
Legal Compliance
Bantr complies with all applicable child safety laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
- 18 U.S.C. § 2258A (CSAM reporting requirements)
- All state and local laws regarding child protection
- International regulations in jurisdictions where we operate
Mandatory Reporting: We are legally required to report any suspected CSAM or child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
